Why did you get into real estate and what do you love most about it?
My journey into real estate began at Louisiana State University, where I studied marketing and discovered my passion for homes and design. Even as a kid, I loved exploring open houses and imagining what a space could become. I’ve always had a natural eye for recognizing untapped potential — a skill that continues to serve my clients well in today’s competitive market. I love getting to work with people and help them achieve their dreams. A house you can make a home of your own, bring your babies home to, and be your safe and happy place.
How much has real estate changed during your career?
I got into real estate in 2006. It was the best and worst time. I did not know any better, so I was doing open houses every weekend and working hard at meeting new connections. This was right before the financial crisis and I believe getting in when I did was a blessing in a way.

What is the biggest key to your success?
Referrals from past clients. There’s no greater compliment than having someone trust me enough to recommend my services to their friends, family, or colleagues. I pour my heart into every transaction, and I believe that level of care and commitment sticks with people long after the deal is done. Those lasting relationships, built on trust, results, and honest communication, have created a strong foundation for my business. It's incredibly rewarding to know that the work I do makes a lasting impact — and that my clients feel confident enough to share their experience with others.
What moment in your career are you most proud of?
Buying my first investment property and having real estate be my long-term retirement plan.
If you weren’t in real estate, what do you think you would you be doing?
I always say when I win the lottery ;) I want to start a nonprofit that feeds children who are low income. Children are the future and they need nourishment for their brains to grow.

What’s one thing you wish more people understood about real estate agents or the buying/selling process?
Your Uncle Rick that purchased a home 30 years ago is not a home inspector.

What are your favorite updates to see in a home/what you look for first in a home?

Knowledge, communication, and humor.
What's the most rewarding part of helping someone buy or sell a home?
